IT Firm Fosters Technology Growth in Carroll and Maryland

Westminster-based Lighthouse Information Systems, Inc. recently announced several projects that aid the development of technology in Carroll County and the state of Maryland.

Partnering with the Carroll Technology Council (CTC), Lighthouse played a significant role on the CTC website committee by providing services to upgrade the council's website to accommodate the CTC's recent expansion. As part of the recent website updates, CTC members and non-members can visit www.carrolltechcouncil.org and access information regarding CTC programs, community services, technology news, upcoming events and more. Additionally, site visitors can utilize the List of Carroll Area Technology Expertise (L.O.C.A.T.E.) resource. This user-friendly searchable database highlights technology services for business and personal use available in Carroll County.

Along with their work with the CTC, Lighthouse has also been collaborating with Tech Council of Maryland (TCM) to enhance membership and event software on the website www.techcouncilmd.com. TCM facilitates member growth by sharing business opportunities and creating awareness of informative regional events. With information management provided by Lighthouse, the enhanced website allows the technology community to find event information and register online for events held throughout the state.
