Carroll County is proud of it's success at maintaining friendly crime-safe communities. In fact, according to the Maryland State Police, in 2007 Carroll County again had the lowest crime rate in the state despite our growing community. The Maryland State Police, Carroll County Sheriff's Department and municipal police forces protect Carroll County families and businesses.
