Carroll Businesses Honored
Carroll County is proud to recognize:
- its first vineyard winery

expansion
- three new commercial projects
- our very own 2009 U.S. SBA Maryland "Women in Business Champion of the Year" award winner
- an international trade organization that draws thousands of visitors
- a leader in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics education
On
November 5th, for the third year in a row, the Department of Economic
Development and the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce joined together
to salute successful and growing Carroll businesses.
Director
Lawrence Twele said “During these difficult economic times it
is especially important for us to honor and recognize the valuable
contributions that these businesses make to Carroll County. Capital
investment and job creation drives local economic growth. The efforts
of these outstanding businesses are essential to bolstering our local
economy.”
