Carroll Businesses Rank High in the
Baltimore Region

Many Carroll businesses made the Baltimore Business Journal's 2008 Book of Lists published in December.

Five of the top 25 manufacturers named are located in Carroll County. General Dynamics Robotics Systems, Jos. A. Banks Clothiers, English American Tailoring, Evapco and Marada Industries; each strengthen our manufacturing base and add to our local economy. In addition, General Dynamics Robotics Systems was noted as one of the largest defense contractors in the Baltimore region.

America's Remote Help Desk (ARHD), located in Eldersburg, was listed as one of the largest IT consulting firms, network system integrators and e-business providers in the Baltimore area.

ARHD's President and CEO, Rich Rubinstein, was again recognized by Baltimore's Smart CEO magazine as a "Future 50" winner.  "Future 50" winners achieved a high level of business revenue and employee growth over the last three years through strategic planning, successful branding, hiring quality employees and delivering superb customer service.
