Governor O’Malley’s office established a website portal www.statestat.maryland.gov/recovery.asp to disseminate information about funding that flows through state programs. DBED is taking an aggressive role in identifying State and Federal contracts for businesses and will provide this information at the workshop. “This is an important session for business owners to attend to learn more about potential business opportunities that are available through the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act” stated Director of Economic Development Larry Twele. “We want Carroll businesses to benefit from the recovery efforts”, Twele further stated.
