DATA CENTER - Environment

The Maryland Department of the Environment established an Environmental Permits Service Center (EPSC) designed to provide assistance to businesses that need environmental permits. Permits applications and other forms are also available on the site.

The Small Business Assistance Program (SBAP) works directly with small businesses to help them achieve compliance with environmental programs

To obtain information on other permits and licenses necessary to start, relocate or expand a business in Maryland, contact the State of Maryland Business License Information System (BLIS).

The Carroll County Health Department Bureau of Environmental Health provides information regarding air and water quality.
